I gained my medical degree in 1980 from the University of Adelaide.
I spent one year in Adelaide then three years in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast in various hospital posts. I then spent five months in various hospital posts in the London area.
I have been a General Practitioner for twenty six years, initially ten years in Salisbury and Elizabeth and the past sixteen years in Prospect.
It gradually dawned on me that people can take responsibility for their health and have an enormous capacity to heal themselves. Over the past eighteen years, I have done various nutrition and bio-energy studies. I find that conventional medicine can have an important role to play and so too does nutrition and maintaining emotional, mental and spiritual health. Helping one or two body systems to work better can greatly improve total body function.
I practice as an integrative GP with interests in all areas of nutritional medicine, men's health, Bio-identical hormones, gut dysfunction, Thyroid & Adrenal Conditions, Chronic fatigue, Allergy & Dematological conditions, Diabetes, Obesity & Heart disease, Chronic Pain, Autoimmune conditions and preventative and lifestyle medicine .
On a personal note I am married with two sons 26 & 22. I love walking, kayaking and cycling.
