Psychologist

Adults with anxiety, depression and a range of mental health issues.

Special interest in working with people with physical and/or cognitive disabilities such as intellectual disability, autism and brain injury.

Monique is psychologist, trained family therapist, credentialled DBT therapist and a trusted name in the disability sector. She started working in the disability sector in 1984 and graduated in 1991. Prior to private practice, Monique worked for a range of government and non-government agencies.

In addition to running and working in her own practice for the last 28 years, Monique has also maintained a number of long-term teaching and consulting commitments over many years, including Independent Chairperson of the Management Assessment Panel (a service arm of the Exceptional Needs Unit in the Department of Human Services) for 12 years and teaching Positive Behaviour Support in the Department of Disability and Social Inclusion at Flinders University for 16 years. She currently works with a broad cross-section of people and organisations and has a special interest in working with people with a physical and/or cognitive disabilities (eg. intellectual disability, autism, brain injury) and their mental health issues. Monique also provides supervision and training to a range of organisations supporting people with disability.

In her spare time, Monique enjoys print-making, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
